God is Great..... God is
Good
Let us Thank Him for our food.
By His hands we are fed,
He gives to us our daily bread.
Amen

Thank you for the world so sweet,
Thank you for the food we eat,
Thank you for the birds that sing,
Thank you, God, for everything.

Come, Lord Jesus, be our
guest,
And may our meal by you be blest.

Oh....... the Lord is good to me and so I thank the Lord
for giving me the things I need
the sun and the rain and the apple tree
the Lord is good to me.

Thanksgiving
Day comes, by statute, once a year; to the honest man
it comes as frequently
as the heart of gratitude will allow,
which may mean every day, or at least seven days.
~Edward Sanford Martin~

A Grace for Every Day
Lord,
you know what we need even before we ask you,
and you give us each day our daily bread.
Help us to eat it with grateful hearts.

How about something to warm
you up from the inside out?
Hot Mulled Cider
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 quarts cider
1 teaspoon whole allspice
1 teaspoon whole cloves
3 inches stick cinnamon
Dash nutmeg
Combine brown sugar, salt,
and cider. Tie spices in small piece of cheesecloth;
add. Simmer, covered, 20 minutes. Remove spices. Serve
hot with twist of orange
peel; use cinnamon sticks as muddlers. Makes 10 servings.

the "Better Homes & Gardens - New Cook
Book"

"For the Christian, Thanksgiving is not an annual
holiday, it is a
lifestyle. A spirit of thankfulness marks the person who
truly loves
Jesus Christ. Gratitude for His great sacrifice for us
motivates
our obedience, checks our sinfulness, and fans into flame
our love and devotion to Him."
~From Family Celebrations Meeting Christ in Your Holidays
