Victoria's Quilts Home Page 

I just wanted to take this opportunity to share with you the wonderful Ministry that Deb has. It is called Victoria's Quilts. They are a Non Profit Organization. If you are going through Cancer treatment yourself or if you have a friend or loved one who has Cancer you will definately want to visit with Deb. The ministry was named after her sister Victoria. When Victoria was going through Chemo she was always COLD. So to honor her sister Deb has started a ministry donates handmade quilts to cancer patients and facilities that serve cancer patients. Here is a quote from her page: "The quilts which are donated to a cancer treatment facility can be kept by the facility or given to the patient, if the patient requests it. My only desire is that the donated quilts never be sold they are not intended to profit, only comfort."

What is an "Internet Ministry Page"?

Well, in this wonderful time that we live in, you can share your faith, the Word of God and your testimony with many, many people. You can do this without even leaving your living room. It is incredible to consider that by ministering and encouraging others, you really are a "Minister". If you are a "Minister", and you "Minister" to others you have a "Web or Internet Ministry". Of course we may not have a "Degree in Theology", but we have a heart after God and a Willing Servants spirit. Not to mention time and a computer.

We can share our experience of the tears and the joys. But don't forget to share how the Lord has used all of these things in your life to bring you closer to Him.

"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy."
~Psalm 126:5~

You don't have to have a Web Page to have an Internet Ministry.

There are many ways to minister to others and to have an Internet Ministry. You could be an Email Encourager. Or how about sending out a Newsletter or Email Mailing. Why not share with others Christian News, Bible Verses or a Thought for the Day. Be imaginative, original, resourceful, clever, inventive, innovative and ingenious. You are only limited by your own creativity.

God comforts us so that we can comfort others. Take the trials, tribulation and joys, that you have experienced in your life and turn them into a blessing for someone else. Share your heart and your words with others, then add to that, Scripture Verses. It is really just about that simple. BUT the most important thing you need to make your web page is to let the Lord direct your words and your thoughts. There is nothing like being a vessel for the Lord. He will use you to reach others and touch their hearts, if you let Him.

~2 Timothy 2: 20-21
"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

You are a wonderful and unique person. You have a story that only you can tell. Please share that story with others. The Old Testament encourages us to "write down these things on the tablets and to share them with others.

Psalm 116: 1-6 - "I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the LORD: 'O LORD, save me!' The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The LORD protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me."

Some people may never see the inside of a Church.

"This is the Church. This is the steeple. Open the door.
But where are the people."

We know that more and more people are purchasing computers and getting on the Internet. Let's have a plethora of good quality and professional sites. Give them a place to come, where they can read the Word and learn what a difference the Lord can make in everyones Life if they allow Him to.

Writing your testimony page is not an easy task. I know. My testimony page was very difficult for me to write. But I know that IF it touched just ONE person it was worth it. Please ponder the verse above yet again. Haven't you experienced something in your own life that might be of comfort and encouragement to others. What is your favorite Bible verse? Let the Word of God be intertwined with your own words. Remember the "The Word of God will never come back void", you may now see the "increase", but it will do its own work.

It reminds us that the Lord can direct our steps and paths and YES even our internet surfing along with our email and 'chatting'. Won't you trust the Lord to direct your steps and paths too?

One that makes a statement (I love Jesus)!

Lance and Pam Odeneal run the ilovejesus.com (they give all ownership to God). The Lord gave them a vision for a Christian community, a few months ago.  They have created a new community for Christians on the web, that will hopefully bring the Christians of the internet together for strengthening, encouragement, and support. You can receive free home pages and free email addresses, plus message boards, fun links, graphics and theme specific areas (missions, teens, kids, men, women, singles, etc.). Their Internet Ministry was just started up this month and they have already had the opportunity to minister to and pray for a lot of people.  They are hoping to build a large community of Christians to be able to encourage one another, ask questions, get advice, share stories, testimonies, and much more.  There are plans to add a bookstore and chat rooms,  in the near future. Pam and Lance especially enjoy ministering to those that need someone to pray for them, so post a message on the prayer board at any time and they will go before the Lord for you!
