~A different kind of Love~

"For God so Loved the World that he gave His only begotten Son. That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 !!!

Have you ever considered what LOVE really is?

What does the Bible tell us about LOVE?

"GOD is Love"
~1 John 4:16~

If you are a Christian, He is a part of you.
You are a "NEW" creation. "Behold all things have become new."
Shouldn't that LOVE be evident in our lives? Shouldn't that kind
of LOVE be our example? If someone doesn't show love one to
another what should that tell us?

"Beloved, let us love one another. For love is of God and anyone
that loveth is born of God and noweth God. He that loveth not,
knoweth not God for God is Love. So beloved.
Let us love one another."
~1 John 4:7-8~

Take the "LOVE TEST"

Love is patient & kind! Are you?
Love is Patient & Kind. Are you???
Take the "Love Test" and find out at:
Annie's "Take the Love Test" Page

"And now these three remain:
Faith, Hope, and Love.
But the greatest of these is Love."
~1 Corinthians 13:13~

Love is the greatest of these qualities......
but what do you know about the other qualities.

Lets look at what the Bible says about "Faith and Hope"

FAITH: "FAITH is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of
things unseen."~Hebrews 11:1~ Just as 1 Corinthians 13 is the "LOVE"
chapter, Hebrews 11 is the "FAITH" chapter. "And without FAITH it is
impossible to please GOD, because anyone who comes to Him must believe
that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."
~Hebrews 11:6~ I think that these scriptures say it all.

HOPE: "HOPE deferred makes the heart sick"~Proverbs 13:12~ If no HOPE
makes you sick, then what does "HOPE" do? "but those who HOPE in the
LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will
run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ~Isaiah 40:31~
Isn't that an AMAZING promise from the Lord? "For in this hope we were
saved. But HOPE that is seen is no HOPE at all. Who HOPES for what he
already has? But if we HOPE for what we do not yet have, we wait
patiently." ~Romans 8:24-25~

Here are just a few of the many Bible verses about
"LOVE"

"In this is love, not that we loved God,
but he loved us and gave his Son . . . "
~1 John 4:10~

"For God so loved the world he gave his one and only Son that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
~John 3:16~

"God showed his love for us in this, that while
we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
~Romans 5:8 ~

Of course there are many, many more verses about "LOVE" in the Bible.

It is so important for Christians to read the Bible.

Many have said that the Bible is God's "Love Letter" to us.

Do you read the Bible? Do you know what it says about God's love for
us? Don't take my word for it, you need to dig into the scriptures
for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Famous Poem

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life ! --and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Real Love will wait for Marriage!

Please DON'T buy into the LIE of "If you Love me you will do it".

It is so important to be "equally yoked".

If you are a Christian ~ WAIT for the Lord's BEST for YOU!
He cares about you and He will guide your steps
and your heart IF you let Him.

Aren't you honoring a Saint? Aren't we all "Saints"?

As Christians we are to:

"Study to show thyself approved unto GOD, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of God".

~2 Timothy 2:15~

"Prove all things, hold fast that which is good"
~1 Thessalonians 5:21~

I am a Christian, I am not Catholic. I have included the links below for
purely educational purposes. I personally found it interesting to know how
the Roman Catholic Church decides to make a person a Saint.

People can be Catholic and a Christian. People can be a Baptist and not a
Christian. People can be a Methodist and not a Christian. Our denomination
does not determine whether we are a Christian or not. Our denomination is
not important. What the Bible says is what is important. Can you find the
scriptures to explain why you believe what you do?

The Bible says that we as Christians and Believers are saints.

Actually the word "saints" is mentioned many times in the Bible.
I think it is important to look at the scripture references.

"To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace and
peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ."
~Romans 1:7~

"And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because
the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will."
~Romans 8:27~

"I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints and to
give her any help she may need from you, for she has been a great
help to many people, including me."
~Romans 16:2~

"Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in
Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:"
~Ephesians 1:1~

"I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order
that you may know the hope to which he has called you,
the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,"
~Ephesians 1:18~

For Valentine's Day
I would like to give you a present.

It is the most important gift I can give you.
It is the most expensive gift you will ever receive.
The value is priceless.

Of course I could give you candy or a card.
You don't have to accept my gift but I would like you to at least unwrap
it before you decide whether you will accept it or not.

If you do accept this gift, you don't have to shake it or worry about the
calories. You won't even have to tear the wrapping paper.

Click here to receive that special gift
Just click on the lovely gift box above to find out how to become a
Christian, and receive the BEST gift you can ever get.

What I want to give you is "Salvation". It is a FREE gift from God. "For by
GRACE are you saved through faith, it is a gift of God not of works lest
any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9. Here is a link to
"The Four Spiritual Laws" part of Campus Crusade for Christ. This page and
site will follow up on your decision if you become a Christian and they have
wonderful resources. You can click here and read my personal testimony
at
"Annie's Testimony Page".

All the presents in the world won't matter if you spend eternity in hell.
Don't put it off......you don't know what tomorrow may bring. Do you know
what you would say if you tomorrow you died, you got to heaven and they
asked you "Why should we let you in?" Believe me a long laundry list of all
the good things you did isn't enough. Because nothing of your own merit
will get you to heaven.....the only way is by accepting
Jesus Christ as your Savior.
