I do not necessarily agree with all the links below or the information on their sites.

"Take Your Daughters & Sons to Work Day" is another wonderful opportunity to pray for others, learn about what
the Bible says about different topics and spend time together as a family. Many of the people that the children
will be meeting at "work" may not be Christians and may not have a relationship with the Lord. Take this as an
opportunity to talk with the family. Discuss the qualities of a good employee. Talk about the 10 commandments.
Ask the children to tell you the difference between a Christian worker or someone that isn't a Christian employee.
Focus on qualities or standards that are different for Christians. Have them find different Bible verses that they
think are important for a Christian employee to have. There are so many different topics to discuss so use this
as another teaching opportunity for you and your family. Ask them to tell you what it means to be a Christian.
Share with them that they can be praying for others without saying a ward and what a differnece that might
make in a non Christian's life. If your family doesn't have prayer and Bible reading together this might
be a wonderful time to start that. This Bible verse sums it all up: "and we know that all things
work together for good to thsoe that are the .... according to His Word.
