Bible Verse: Isaiah 43:2 ~ "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
Thought: "If we mock honor we shouldn't be surprised to find traitors in our midst." ~C.S. Lewis~
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 1
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 1
Memory Verse: Proverbs 3: 5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."

~February 2nd~
Bible Verse: Nahum 1:7 "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,"
Thought: The dictionary defines "refuge" as: shelter or protection from harm; any place one may turn for relief or help. Where do you turn for your "refuge"?
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 2
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 2
Memory Verse: Psalms 23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want."

~February 3rd~
Bible Verse: Psalms 91:1-2 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust."
Thought: I don't know why the Lord laid on my heart another verse on refuge. But the Lord knows why. This verse also speaks about "trust". Do you really trust the Lord to take care of everything in your life?
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 3
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 3
Memory Verse: Review the two verses Proverbs 3:5-6 and Psalms 23:1

~February 4th~
Bible Verse: Galatians 5: 22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."
Thought: To have the "fruit of the Spirit" in our life, shows the evidence of the unseen power of God to change us from the inside out.
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 4
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 4
Memory Verse: We are still going to repeat the verse we have been working on. Proverbs 3:5-6 and Psalms 23:1. Take a piece of paper and try to write out both verses. Once you write them put them on the fridge and on the mirror in the bathroom. The more you read it out loud and see it, the more it will stay in your heart.

~February 5th~
Bible Verse: Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Thought: Rest! What a comforting word. Do you need REST? Come to Jesus and let Him give you the kind of REST that only He can give you.
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 5
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 5
Memory Verse: Let's record the verses that you have memorized. You might want to get an empty notebook. Then you can use part of it for prayers requests and answered prayer. You can use the front half for the prayer section and the back for your Memory Verses. Write the reference and then write out the full verse. I prefer to memorize in the KJV but you can memorize in which ever translation you prefer.

Bible Verse: Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God"
Thought: I don't know about you but when the Lord makes me to "be still" I personally say "OK Lord why do you want me to be still". So much for trusting. But I guess it is just really hard for people of our generation to actually slow down and "be still". Maybe the Lord wants us to be still so that we can "listen". But then I still get impatient and say "I am not hearing anything". But I do know that He has it all under control. And I have to "wait".
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 6
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 6
Memory Verse: Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God"

~February 7th~
Bible Verse: Isaiah 26:3 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
Thought: To have "perfect peace" we need to be immersing ourselves in the word of God. What is your mind "stayed" on?
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 7
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 7
Memory Verse: Psalm 56:3 "What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee."

~February 8th~
Bible Verse: 1 Peter 5: 6-7 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
Thought: "He will speak to us in our time, but we should be ready and willing to hear Him. If we're patient He will let Himself be known."

Bible Verse: Acts 1:10-11 "They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." (also Rev 1:7 says "look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him,")
Thought: We live in such an amazing time. Are you ready for the Lord's return? Can you say "Come Lord Jesus"?
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 9
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 9
Memory Verse: Nehemiah  8:10  " for the joy of the Lord is your strength"

~February 10th~
Bible Verse: Colossians 3:23 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not unto men;" ~KJV~ and "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men," ~NIV~ Galatians 6:2 "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Thought: I think that for the thought I will just add these verses: Matthew 12:36-37 "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement, For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
Proverb A Day:
Proverbs 10
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 10
Memory Verse: Colossians 3:23 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not unto men;"

~February 11th~
Bible Verse: Isaiah 12:1-6 "And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee."
Thought: Does your heart SING to the Lord? Is there a SONG in your heart? God can put a NEW SONG in your heart. Ask Him.

Proverbs 11
Psalm A Day:
Psalm 11
Memory Verse: Isaiah 12:2 "I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song;"

Bible Verse: Matthew 7:18-23 "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Thought: What do your "fruits" say about you? How wonderful it will be when we get to Heaven and hear our Lord say to us: "Well done thy good and faithful servant".

Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
