The
word Promotion is in the Bible
twice.
"For
promotion cometh neither
from the east,
nor from the west, nor from the south."
~Psalms 75:6~
"The
wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall
be the promotion of fools. "
~Proverbs 3:35~
There are Two Bible Verses with the word
"scholar" in them:
"And
they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as
the great, the teacher as the scholar."
~1 Chronicles 25:8~
"The
LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master
and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob,
and him that offereth an offering
unto the LORD of hosts."

Annie's
Thoughts about Graduation:
Instead
of thoughts I decided to just post some questions for you
to ponder!
As Christians do we look at Graduation differently then
the WORLD does?
Do we ever graduate from the school that we enter as
Christians?
Is there a grading curve or grading system for us as
Christians?
How do we know that we have made the mark or passed the
"test"?
Why
is it that we seem to strive to be perfect and wise?
The Lord tells us that we are to be "like
Children" and to have "FAITH" but
that seems to difficult. It is contrary to what the WORLD
and OTHERs
expect of us. And often we can get caught up in being
"people pleasers"
instead of doing what the Lord wants us to do and waiting
for Him.
Here are a few things that I
wish that I had learned earlier:
1: NEVER react or reply in anger or immediately.
WAIT until the next day to reply.
2: NEVER Justify your actions or defend yourself.
The Lord will do that for you if you are living for Him.
3: TRUSTING the LORD is not enough,
you have to also WAIT on the Lord too.
