Tennessee Fruit Tea

4 to 5 T. unsweetened instant tea
4c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
12 oz. can of frozen lemonade
12 oz. can of frozen pineapple orange juice
Stir together tea, water, and sugar: bring to boil, then let cool. In a gallon container mix lemonade and pineapple orange juice. Add to tea mixture along with enough water to make one gallon. Refrigerate. Serve over ice.

Sun Tea HINT

When you place your suntea out in the morning, put a few sprigs of mint, lemon
balm, scented geraniums, lemon verbena, or some rose petals in your jar.
Strain out when you are ready to serve.

Rose Petal Tea

2 c. firmly packed fragrant rose petals (about 15 large roses, wash and pat dry)
1 c. tea leaves
Pre heat oven to 200. Place rose petals on an ungreased baking sheet. Leaving
oven door slightly open, dry petals in oven for 3 to 4 hours or until completely
dry, stirring occasionally. In a food processor, fitted with steel blade, process
rose petals and tea leaves until finely chopped. Store in airtight container.

To brew tea: Place 1 teaspoon tea for each 8 ounces of water in a warm
teapot. Bring water to a boil and pour over tea. Steep 5 minutes.
Stir and strain. Serve hot or chilled. Serves 3

Rose Petal Ice Cubes

These are so pretty when they are floating in a punch bowl or a pitcher of iced
tea or lemonade.
Collect pesticide free rose petals. Rinse under warm water and
blot dry. Fill ice cube tray half full with water and freeze. Place a rose petal on
each cube, cover with a teaspoon of water; freeze again. Fill cubes completely
with water and freeze, remove from trays.

This is such a feminine touch for us ladies....very quaint and lovely.
