Thought: Ponder your words in your mind, before you speak them today. Make them peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy.

Thought: You don't need to carry you past baggage around with you. After a while it will get really heavy. So leave it at foot of the Cross. Then you can walk away with your load lightened and your heart forgiven.

Thought: 1 Peter 3:15 says "Be ready always, to give an answer, to everyone that asketh you the reason, for the hope that is in you with meekness and with fear". Are you ready to give an answer? Do you know how to lead another to your Saviour? Can others see the hope in you?

Thought: There is another verse on JOY that says it is our strength. But read the verse: Nehemiah  8:10  " for the joy of the Lord is your strength" What is your strength? What is your Joy?

Thought: We attain more, in any situation, with honey than with vinegar. Are we drawing people to the Lord with honey?

1 Peter 4:10 - "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms."
Thought: Do you know what your own personal gifts and talents from the Lord are? Are you using them to serve the Lord? If you don't know what your gifts are, ask the Lord to show you. If you are not using them at all, ponder and pray about what the Lord would have you do. Remember to listen to the "Still Small Voice of the Lord".

Bible Verse:
Mark 13:31 - "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."
Thought: Study and Read the Word of God on a regular basis. If you haven't memorized scripture how can the Lord bring them to mind and heart when you need them. Remember that when Jesus was tempted in the Wilderness, but without sin, He used the word of God to rebuke satan. You need to read the scripture so you will know when it is being twisted and misused. (.Luke 4)

Psalms 32:7 - "You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance."
Thought: When everything seems to be closing in around you, remember that the Lord will protect you and He is your Hiding Place. A prayer doesn't have to be lengthy just a few words will do.
